And So She Shall Be Named Ruby

So obviously, we signed that lease and now we have nine girls living in a...well...blegh-kind of house (heavy on the blegh). But we are girls who love to paint, so it didn't take too long before almost every wall in the house was painted a more suitable hue.

First update = the outside of the house. Now, there really wasn't much we could do. We don't have money lying around to repaint the exterior and update windows. So instead, we decided to spruce up our door.

Now, you will remember our bland look of the door from the before pictures

Say goodbye to that sucker! With a nice red, it really made our front look cleaner. Plus, we are in Badger-land and red is never a bad option.

Also, if you look closely you will see that our mailbox was changed as well. Although, that wasn't much of a choice for us. We were all out of town one weekend and came back to find half of a watermelon hanging where our mailbox should be! Crazy, right?!

And so, obviously, whenever we walk through that door we instantly feel the positive energy of the vibrant red and we are happy to be home! Cecily, makes this point very clear:
